Located in Alpharetta, Georgia, Rader has dedicated over $2,000,000 to a 12,000 square foot Research and Development/ customer demonstration facility.  This is an independent facility 100% dedicated to existing product improvements and new innovative product design.  It is the only full-size operating customer demonstration facility in the world dedicated to woodyard, processing, screening, and material handling  equipment. Among other things, the facility features:

Razorback Bark Shredder
Dynagage Bar Screen
CC2000 Chip Classifier
Raderwave Fines Screen
DynaYield Chip Conditioner
Low Velocity Air Separator (LVAS)

Rader holds over 500 worldwide patents which reflect Rader's dedication to innovation.  This innovation has resulted in Rader introducing the first thickness screens and classifiers in the 1970's, fines screens and chip conditioning in the 1980's, and low maintenance, low wear thickness screens in the 1990's.

The facility is a center where Rader develops new, innovative ideas and cutting edge technology. Rader believes strongly that research and development should not be part of manufacturing operations, but should be in an environment where ideas can flourish.
